    General Information:
    I am a professional artist/illustrator who is very focused and passionate about my art. In effect I cast models as characters, I find appropriate costumes/clothing/ props and stage each scene I am illustrating and photographic it. I then use the shots as reference as I draw. Sometimes my goal is a photo and you will see those shots on my page as well. I'm mainly focused on fantasy and graphic novel (comic book) work including sequential, cover and pin-up art. I’m here as a photographer because I know the better my photo reference is the better my work will be. I’m always pushing to create the best art I can.

    My lager goals are in exploring and pushing the envelope for expressive and emotive posing. I see it as borrowing a fine art approach to the form and transforming it into a dynamic element to larger story. Use the whole body, arms, hands, legs, tilt of the head, and facial expressions to create an authenticity for telling a unique story not using the generic pose every artist can refer to (pose books). Push the envelope to a show depth of emotion and subtext while being dynamic and incorporating it into a story context of a single image or series.

    I‘m pretty laid back on set and I work to create a relaxed and collaborative shoot. My goal is to get those unique perhaps idiosyncratic aspects each model brings, just by being an individual, and get as much personality and energy on film so I can translate it to my art.

    • Strong classical dance or gymnastic (or similar) background to work with to explore dramatic posing that is expressive and tells a story or helps define a character.

    • Fitness models, if you’re built like a superhero let’s see if we can make you one.

    • Think it would be fun being a superhero, playing with weapons, wearing sexy costumes, or getting in touch with their inner villain.

    • Just want to try something different
